RASPBERRY SORBET BIODEGRADABLE GLITTER - 10ml jar

Plant-based cosmetic glitter made from eucalyptus cellulose instead of conventional plastic glitter.

Bold berry tones with flashes of silver sparkle, this is the glitter mix everyone notices the second it enters the room.

Not because it causes a scene.

Because it glides in wearing six-inch heels, smelling expensive and somehow never spills a drop of martini.

Confident. Flirty. Slightly dangerous.

Honestly? She knows exactly what she’s doing.

The Glitter Tribe glitter is certified to break down in nature.

So once you’re done dazzling, toss her to the daisies and let nature enjoy the afterparty.

What is it made from?

The Glitter Tribe proudly uses only TÜV-certified BioGlitter®.

BioGlitter® is made from a special plant-based cellulose derived primarily from sustainably sourced eucalyptus trees instead of conventional plastic glitter film.

The eucalyptus cellulose is responsibly harvested following FSC® certified standards for sustainable forestry and ethical production.

Unlike traditional glitter made from plastic microfilms, BioGlitter® is designed to break down naturally in the environment while still delivering high sparkle and cosmetic-grade performance.

BioGlitter® is made in Germany.

The Glitter Tribe then lovingly mixes, packs and ships your sparkle from Australia.

How long does it take to break down?

BioGlitter® is designed to break down naturally in the environment with the help of microorganisms, water, oxygen and heat.

Just like leaves break down faster in a damp forest than in a dry desert, the speed of biodegradation depends on the surrounding environmental conditions.

As a general guide, our biodegradable glitter may naturally break down within approximately 30–90 days once exposed to natural environments.

Because sparkle should leave memories, not conventional microplastics behind.

How does it actually break down?

BioGlitter® breaks down naturally with the help of microorganisms found in the environment.

When exposed to oxygen, water, heat and naturally occurring microbes, the plant-based eucalyptus cellulose is metabolised and broken down into natural elements including carbon dioxide, water and biomass.

Unlike conventional plastic glitter designed to persist in the environment, BioGlitter® is created to return gently back to nature over time.

Proof it breaks down.

BioGlitter® has been independently tested to internationally recognised freshwater biodegradability standards including ISO14851 and ISO14852.

Testing showed greater than 95% biodegradability within 56 days under certified testing conditions.

All testing was conducted by ISO17025 accredited laboratories and verified by TÜV to ensure compliance with recognised biodegradability standards including EN14987.

A product advertised as TÜV certified should always have a TÜV certification ID number to support its claims.

Our certification ID: SO933.

Because when we say biodegradable, we mean properly tested biodegradable.

Not just greenwashed sparkle.
